\u201cEven the most conservative estimates suggest at least five percent of the two million people incarcerated in America may be innocent,\u201d said Michael Semanchik, Executive Director of The Innocence Center and host of For the Innocent<\/em>. \u201cThat means tens of thousands of lives stolen by wrongful convictions. The Innocence Center has helped overturn 43 wrongful convictions, restoring more than 600 years of freedom\u2014but that\u2019s just the tip of the iceberg.\u201d
